The much spoken about Mobile OS Android faced a 'Trojan' virus attack recently which was detected by a Mobile Security company, LookOut Mobile Security.

According to LookOut Mobile Security , "This Trojan can steal a large amount of users' personal data and send it to multiple remote servers" , quoted by VIVAnews from Cellular News, Friday, December 31, 2010.

According LookOut, when a host application contains 'Geinimi'  launched on mobile users, the trojan will work and mengumumpulkan important information and is privacy. Specific information collected includes the location coordinates of the user, the device recognizes the unique number (IMEI) and the SIM card (IMSI).

Within five minutes, Geinimi to connect with a remote server by using one of the 10 available domain. The good news, trojan distributed via kiosks coincidence only third party application or made in China, not on the official Android application kiosk.

So avoid any installations via chinese kiosks!!

We started back in 1876 with the invention of 'Telephone' by Alexander Graham Bell, a simple hand held device with a rotating dial to punch in numbers and with the sole purpose of communication. But today after nearly a 140 years, we have advanced from that simple device to a much more complicated but easy to use Communication devices like Smartphones, Touch Phones, Tablets etc.

Today market is filled with such products from Tech. giants like Apple, Sony, Samsung, LG, Nokia, Blackberry and many more as well as some new IT industries like Micromax, Lava etc. We have touch phones, Business phones varying in all sizes and designs and most importantly "Operating System".

The Widely used OS include Nokia's Symbian , Apple's iOS, RIMs Blackberry OS, MicroSoft's Windows OS and the Newly entered Samsung's BADA OS and GOOGLE's ANDROID.

Android is An Open source Project with it's scripting done on Java, C, C++ and XML. It's currently the most sought after OS beacuse of it's New and Fresh GUI and most importantly a large and constantly increasing Application Library.
